Malabar nut is a tiny evergreen shrub that thrives in wide plains, particularly in the lower Himalayas. Leaves range in length from 10 to 16 cm, are minutely hairy, and broadly lanceolate. Malabar nut is a herbal plant that requires very little water and is exceptionally resilient. If there is one herbal plant that should be singled out for large-scale growth and planting, it is this one. Adhatoda is a Tamil term that refers to a plant that herbivorous animals avoid. It is easily propagated by cuttings and grows to a height of eight to fourteen feet with lovely white flowers.
