About the product
Ramacha vishari (literally, Vettiver fan), sleeping mats made of Ramacham, and thailam or scent produced from its roots are all goods that have been used in Kerala since ancient times during the hot summer. Even while contemporary electrical conveniences perform their purposes ‘better,’ they remain opulent ethnic goods seen in Kerala households. Ramacham is botanically known as Vettiveria zezanoides.
How to Use
- The grass and its roots are extensively utilised medicinally.
- Typically, water is sprayed on the Ramacha vishari to create a fragrant wind.
- Water would be sprayed on Ramacham mats used as blinds to keep the rooms cool and relaxing during the hot summer days.
